I am an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, also affiliated with the Institute of Networking and Security Research (INSR). Before that, I was a Research Staff Member in the Network Analytics Research Group at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, from 2007 to 2016.

I have served as Associate Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (2017-2019) and IEEE Transactions on Communications (2017-2020), and TPC member for many communication/networking conferences including IEEE INFOCOM (2009-present) and IEEE ICNP (2018-present). I am on the Steering Committee for ICCCN workshop on Edge Computing and Networking (ECN). I have been IEEE Senior Member since 2013. I have published over 90 papers in refereed journals/conferences and 13 patents. Google Scholar link
I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 2007 under the supervision of Prof. Lang Tong, with a minor in Applied Maths. I received my BS in Computer Science from Beijing University in 2003.
